Andy R. Morckel
, is a Senior Technical Assistant for INTLVRC. Andy has rejoined INTLVRC in 2007 after a few months off and he was formerly a part of an experimental programme and part of INTLVRC's "Outreach Programme & Opportunities" whereby INTLVRC tries to reach the community through education and opportunities as they occur. Andy is in charge of INTLVRC's Community Emergency Assistance Service (CEAS) whereby INTLVRC assists local police & fire departments in local emergencies such as directing traffic, etc. during field/brush fires, etc. Andy also provides us with excellent field work and has previously assisted on several expeditions already, working as a Technical Assistant. He has worked at volcanoes that include the Sunset Crater and Superstitions in Arizona and the Amboy Crater in Amboy, California, the Craters of the Moon in Idaho as well as the Ubehebe Crater in Death Valley, California. Lastly, due his training in First-Aid, etc., Andy has been appointed as the INTLVRC Medical Technician & Safety Technician as well.
