H ello and welcome to the International Volcano Research Centre (INTLVRC) (formerly Southwest Volcano Research Centre - SWVRC) website. These award winning pages contain information about current eruptions and other results from around the globe and on-going research into the forecasting of the volcanic eruptions of many of the world's volcanoes including some of the world's most dangerous volcanoes. This page is maintained by R. B. Trombley, Ph.D., Director & Principal Research Volcanologist at INTLVRC and Professor Emeritus at the Phoenix campus of DeVRY University. Computer operations are maintained by Mr. Philip G. Andersen, BSCIS, Principal of Computer Operations at INTLVRC, former manager at Irvine's Hard Drive Recovery Group and an award winning Manager of Computer Information System at MiniCo, Inc. corporation in Phoenix, Arizona. Geochemistry endeavours are maintained by Jean-Paul Toutain, Ph.D., Principal Research Geochemist who operates out of Toulouse, France and lastly software engineering support is provided by Mr. Florin V. Ivan, Principal of Software Engineering, and a Director with The Snoring Mouthpiece Report. The "Current News" portion of the INTLVRC website is updated on the 1st day of each month.
